{bb} Logfile monitoring

Hello Gents,

we are currently looking for a script which generates an alert if a
logfile entry has not appeared for a certain period of time.

We already searched deadcat but did not succeed. I'm quite sure that
something like this has already been done by somebody else. Maybe someone
can point us to the right script.
