RE: {bb} Notification on new server

A configuration of:

  pagelevels: yellow red
  pagelevelsmail:

Should generate all but the purple (stale log) alerts. So, assuming
that there is a red or yellow status currently on your display
machine, has anything appeared in BBVAR/acks/notifications.log yet.

If not, it might be best to add a catch-all rule to your bbwarnrules.cfg
file. Something like:

  *;;*;;*;*;root@localhost

To help with trouble-shooting, it might also be handy to know how you
are testing or what type of alert status you currently have. If a
client test is generating the alert, it's possible that it reports
the status to the correct display machine but the wrong pager machine.

Cheers, Phil.

If debugging is the process of removing bugs, then programming must be
the
process of putting them in.
