RE: {bb} configuring windows client options?
The name you use in the windows client (in the "BB Alias Name) has to match
EXACTLY to what is in your bb-hosos file (case sensitive, dashes, dots, FQDN
or not, etc) or the test columns will not show up. By default, the win
client seems to stick the FQDN in the BB Alias Name and if you don't have it
in your bb-hosts like that....you get nothing! Simply match the BB Alias
name to your bb-hosts and the columns should magically appear in a few
minutes!

No, I do not use FQDN. Is there some feature or benefit in doing so?
On bb2.html I see the status change and there is does have the columns and
status's for disk, cpu, msgs, and svcs for the windows hosts. But shouldn't
these tests show as additional columns, next to the "conn" test?
In case it helps by including the windows hosts portion of the bb-hosts
file, here it is:
page windows Windows Servers
group-compress <H3><I>Windows Servers</I></H3>
192.168.20.11 Con-air
192.168.20.6 Connx-ap
192.168.20.12 Pcmiler
192.168.20.15 Project
192.168.20.16 Adp1
I hope that answers your questions.
Thanks,

A few questions...
Do you use FQDN on the BBDISPLAY?
Do you see new status changes on bb2.html?
Do the entries in your bb-hosts file match your client configuration?
I've seen any combination of the above, but it's most of the presence
(or absence) of the domain name.

Hello,
I decided to add our handful of Windows servers to the BB monitoring, and
have installed the windows clients on those hosts. I added the page
directive to the bb-hosts file on the Unix host which is the BBDISPLAY and
BBPAGER but all I get is the connection test displaying for each windows
host. I added a few services to monitor as well as disks to monitor but I am
not getting any of those statistics on webpage.
The documentation doesn't talk much about how to configure the clients can
someone tell me how I can monitor disk space and services etc on my windows
hosts?
Thanks,
Mike Partyka
