{bb}message file testing

I have got BB1.9 server runing on RH enterprise; I have got a solaris client running BBclient 1.9.

I have got a message from the client

/var/adm/messages (scanned at Fri Dec 24 12:49:40 GMT 2004)
Dec 24 12:46:10 library1 unix: NOTICE: hih0: xmit hung^M

I have done the following on both client & server in bb-msgtab but it doesnt make any difference

library1 : /var/adm/messages : : WARNING : NOTICE : hih0; xmit; hung

any ideas  what I should actually do
