It's set in the $BBHOME/ext/mkbb/eventlog.sh script - change these two
to do as you want:

NUMEVENTS=25            # MAX NUMBER OF EVENTS
LASTMINUTES=240         # EVENTS IN THE LAST 4 HOURS
