{bb} Checking inodes

All,
  Has anyone combined the bb-disk.sh script with the bb-inode.sh script that's
on deadcat.net? (http://www.deadcat.net/viewfile.php?fileid=566)  We have a 
crappy application that's fond of writing a million (almost literally...) files
into /var, stealing all of the inodes so I'd like to test for it and alert 
early if possible (instead of waiting for the "no inode" messages to come out).
I don't want a separate test, since disk is disk.

  I know it'd be pretty easy to merge them, but figured I'd ask if it's already
been done before, instead of reinventing the wheel.  Thanks all!
