RE: {bb} where are the alarms for bb-files.sh?

- What version of bb-files.sh?

Version_1

- It should report under the "files" column, as earlier posts state

It doesn't. Similar to the nmap script, should it be added to the bb-hosts file?

- You must restart BB in order to any bb-bbexttab changes to take effect.

BB has been restarted a few times since that file was edited.

- My filetab has lines like this:
jargon.southside.domain.com<><><>/test_dir/<>test\.txt<><><>2M<><><><><><><>

where the hostname+domain are with dots, field separator is <>,
filename is a regular expression (hence the \.) and so on.

OK but that's contrary to the examples gigen in the filetab. That is,

# E X A M P L E S
#
# Failed transfers end up in /home/xfer/failed/* -- these files should not exist
# but size is not important (obviously). Thus red:green:green and max size -1
#
#server1 /home/xfer/failed/*:-1:red:green:green
#
#
# System and bb log files. Default colors are just fine.
# For host unixware2 we require red alert if the file is missing
# (good for security...)
#
#systemV1 /home/bb/bb/BBOUT:5000000 /var/adm/log/confile:20000000
#unixware1,domain,com /home/bb/bb/BBOUT:5000000 /var/adm/log/osmlog:20000000 /var/adm/syslog:20000000
#unixware2,domain,com /var/adm/log/osmlog:20000000:green:yellow:red
# More examples: apache logs, multiple lines/host
#webserver,domain,com /home/bb/bb/BBOUT:5000000 /var/adm/log/osmlog:20000000 /var/adm/syslog:20000000 /usr/local/apache/logs/access_log:1000000:green:yellow:green /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log:10000000
#host,domain,com /home/bb/bb/BBOUT:5000000
#host,domain,com /var/adm/log/confile:20000000
