{bb} nmap query

Is the nmap script able to be configured so that it just allows certain 
ranges of ports to be open or closed depending on usage?

I can't really see any real-time use for it if it will alarm every time my 
Mac server accesses the svrloc port.  Or if my Linux server opens and closes 
the ldapssl port when its accessed.
