Henrik answered : Hobbit is licensed under the GPL. So no restriction
of that kind may apply. This is just Free Software....

Indeed, this is certainly for me the best motivation for really
considering switching to Hobbit my "so deeply customized BB setup"
with lots of custom external scripts and larrd graphs....:-)
