these features sounds great and if hobbit is running like bbgen: great job.

Two features are very intressting.
Failover:
I have a cluster of 4 Server with one main Server and 3 Failover for all 
the different networks plus some bbporxies. So it will be hard for me 
not to change directly to hobbit, but I hope you will release a 
failover-version soon. So I can start firing my hobbit, too.

Log to DB:
I think storing all the logs in DBs is a big advantage. My C know-how is 
so small, that I can't make any fast modules for hobbit. But I hope you 
or some esle will make something like this. It is also a nice idea of 
storing all the config-part into a DB. My configs are getting bigger and 
bigger and I will lost the overview soon. I already splitted the bb-hosts.
