- Thread-topic: problem offlining servers
I'm having a problem offlining servers in BB. I'm using this command:
$BBHOME/bin/bb bbserver.mydomain.com "offline myserver.mydomain.com"
When I run the command, the zero byte file myserver.mydomain.com is
created in the $BBVAR/disabled directory, so the command seems to be
correct. If I later run the same command using "online" instead of
"offline", the file is removed from that directory.
The web display never shows the server to be disabled and I continue to
receive alerts for it.
I am able to disable servers using the command:
$BBHOME/bin/bb bbserver.mydomain.com "disable myserver.mydomain.com.*
5m"
The display for the disabled server turns blue for the specified time.
I'm running BB 1.9e on Solaris 9.
Any ideas on what to check?
Thanks.
Ron
