Re: {bb} SNMP trap from BB server



It all depends.  What system is receiving the traps?

Disk traps should be set up by default in the bbwarnrules.cfg 
file.  Just look near the top of the file for "trapdcodes" and 
you'll see what I mean.  The trap will be sent in the dotted 
notation, so your receiver will have to know how to decode 
traps OIDs.  I know that Micromuse, Smarts and HPOV all work.

Say BB client running on Host A. There is a disk alert it sends to
BBDISPLAY server. Now BBDISPLAY send a trap based of hostA.disk alert 

How do I do that? I already installed NET-SNMP on BBDISPLAY server
