Title: Ack's and np files
Hi Everyone,
Just a quick question from a bit of a beginner (sorry!!)…..
Can anyone tell me how /var/bb/tmp/np_* files are created? I am asking because quite a few of myred and yellow tests are not producing np files, and are therefore not available for acknowledgement. For example, I monitor diskspace using the same script on aroung 100 different servers. However, if there are 20 red, often only 5 or 6 appear on the acknowledgement page. I have tried removing all the np files, and tried removing the /var/bbvar/log/ files for some tests, but doesn't help at all. If I could work out what triggers an np file to be created then that might help!
Many thanks!!!
Ian :o)
