It means a status message sent from x.y.z.q was not completely
sent before bbd hit a timeout. I think this is set to 3 seconds
(can only be changed with a re-compile of bbd).

Is the x.y.z.q server and your BBDISPLAY server on different networks?
Is there a firewall between the two ? I've seen this with some
firewalls that fail to send the final TCP handshake packets. So the
connection does not terminate normally seen from the BBDISPLAY side.
In that case it is more of an annoyance than a real problem, since no
data is lost.
