If you've tried to do a log rotation on BBOUT without restarting, you
won't get errors (bbd leaves BBOUT open).
Just for sanity's sake, you could "time" your mkbb processes in your
bb-display.sh script; that's guaranteed to trigger some output. Maybe
redirect the time (2>>).

Yeah sadly, BBGen is not an option. Don't ask. I just built another
machine to test Hobbit on. I just don't understand why BB would be
taking so long to update it's main page without giving me an error
about
the tests. Thanks for the advice :)
