*blush* Kevin: you're right. My system time is currently 10 minutes
behind. I was trying to make a zebra out of a horse.
However, to the other questions: the number of machines I monitor is
approaching 1000, and I wouldn't be entirely surprised if I start to see
performance issues in the future. Especially with the number of custom
client-side checks that get reported from a large number of those
machines.
My BBDISPLAY is running Gentoo.
I am going to go download that script, thank you Craig. My boss has
something against BBGen from the last time I installed it on the old BB
machine; he doesn't like the look, or I guess change in general. I'm
sick of arguing about it.
Thanks guys :)
~Kim

If bbgen is not an option maybe you can run a perl script? ->
mkbb-0.15.tar.gz (on deadcat)
By default, BB uses a shell script to generate html pages. As your
server count increases this script just can't handle it.
I used (and maintained) the perl script mentioned above to speed things
up again, until bbgen came along and overtook the functionality.
How many monitored hosts do you have?
What OS is you BBDISPLAY?
