Fixed it :) It was BBOUT being cranky, as restarting BB would try to rm
it but it had been created with an old UID, so it couldn't write into
it.

So... Because of how certain mounts were set up and being shared, I had
to change the userid of bb on machines. I stopped BB first, and I made
sure to also change the group ID and re-chown everything. However, I
think BB continues to try and start processes as #519 (the old UID), and
complain about permission errors. 519 doesn't exist in /etc/passwd
anymore. Is there an easy way to fix whatever BB is holding onto with
the old UID? Or should I just suck it up and reinstall? Yet another one
of my non-standard weird questions. Thanks!
