The "DNS error" message is triggered by bbtest-net when it cannot
determine the IP-address for the URL. So it should only happen if
indeed there is a DNS problem. But since you get a "500" status error
then obviously that cannot be the case.
Could you send me a copy of one of these http logs ? You must have
some in the historical logs - bbvar/histlogs/hostname/http/time_of_error
BTW, if you want the content-status to go red instead of clear when
there is a HTTP server problem, you can add a "~" in front of the
"cont" - e.g. ~cont;http://www.foo.com/;OK will go red on both the
http- and the content-column if the server reports an error.
