- Thread-topic: External scripts notification
Hi List,
I'm running an external script that queries an oracle database for a
particular row. I'm using the
Notifylist variable as the failure of this test is of interest only to
the developers and then not enough to justify paging in the middle of
the night. Everything is working well except that I'm trying to limit
the time of day when the failure of this test will send an email to the
developers.
It appears that by using setnotifylist that you can actually override
settings for host groups and page groups.
I can live with this too if I knew how to set this in the external
script.
Question is: Is it possible to set this in the script?
The environment is bb19c on Solaris.
I can post the script and config files if needed.
Thanks In Advance.
Mike
