I'm new to Big Brother, so please excuse me if this problem is explained
somewhere in the documentation or the list archive (I've looked with no
success).
I installed bb1.9e client and server on one machine (Solaris 9) and it
runs fine.
I installed and modified bb-sybase_ase1.1 and extdef as instructed in
the documentation, but the Big Brother display did not change (after
restarting client and server). I tried installing and modifying
bb-sybase_ase1.1 and extdef on the server side too, but that made no
difference.
Have others had this problem?
I found a post on this list from October 12, 2004: "I have added the ext
entries and var entries to bb-extdef and modified the run script as
documented, but this does not seem to kick the Sybase script off,
nothing happens at all. The only way I could get the Sybase-ase script
to load is to add it to bb-bbextdef as well."
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe Thornton
