If all else fail, you could start a script from bb-bbexttab that starts nmap with the arguments you want.
Just my $0.02

Does anyone know how to add a command line argument to a script in
bb-bbexttab?
I've got this at the bottom of the file
localhost : : nmap -p 1-1000
