The best solution is to use a cron job to execute 
a disable/enable as appropriate.  

If you have custom columns, just create an 
html page in the $BBHOME/www/help with that 
column name and the column name will then point 
over to the file.

I suspect we'll never see another significant update 
for BB - sadly.  Use Hobbitmon if there is functionality 
you are looking for not in the stock BTF BB.
Or check deadcat.  I just put mkbbpl and fping.pl 
on my 1.9c system and they work great.

We run Netcool here too.  It would be interesting 
to see what you've developed for Netcool.
