You could be lazy and hide the trends column for the group that does not want to see it.
Something like:
Main BB page <- you use this url to see everything
Group 1 pages <- give this url to group1
Group 1 subpages
group-only conn|cpu|disk unix boxes
0.0.0.0 host1.domain.com
Group 2 pages <- give this url to group2
Group 2 subpages
group-compress unix boxes
0.0.0.0 host2.domain.com
