I am new to BB and very excited to get it al working. It looks like it
is going to be a great tool.
I have looked thru the archives and found a few posts that looked like
it was a simiar problem to mine but the resolution they came up with is
not working for me.
the problem is that none of the clients I have installed are reporting
anything other than conn. we have a very mixed environment so I wanted
to setup a client on a single server of each platform that is not used
much before I go putting clients all over the place.
BBDISPLAY and BBPAGER are on linux server running FC3
I am not using FQDN
I put the client on a Windows 2003 server box and got nothing but
conn.
I checked the BB alias name. It matches BB-hosts exactly
I removed all of the files related to that server from ../bbvar/logs
../bbvar/hist and ../www/html
still no joy.
I decided to load the netware client on one of the novell servers to
detirmine if the problem was related to the NT client or to the server.
I get the same results from the NW client, so I assume I must have
something setup incorrectly in the server config.
Any help would be appriciated.
thanks in advance,
John Barber
