Re: {bb} Re: How to use the same BBDISPLAY for internal AND external servers?
Hello,
Sorry to reply to my own message again. However, I went through the
archives again, and I think I found the solution to my problem, as posted
by Henrik Olsen http://support.bb4.com/archive/200008/msg01070.html
It seems that what I need is to use one bbhosts file for the internal
network. Make 10.0.0.1 the BBDISPLAY BBPAGER BBNET. I can also list the
external nodes on here, and still allow the 10.0.0.1 machine to test them,
since it has access to both networks. This is also the bbhosts file that
I will use on the BBDISPLAY server.
Then, on the external nodes, I need a separate bbhosts file that lists
216.50.50.50 as the BBDISPLAY BBPAGER BBNET (maybe I don't even need to
list a BBNET?), so that they pass the information to that server.
Does this sound about right?
Thank you!
