{bb} Sending traps with varbinds for custom tests?

Brothers and sisters,

I was wondering if anyone had the need to send "varbinds" 
with a trap, specifically a custom test?

MY situation is that I've got a test that returns one of three 
error codes (let's say 1, 2 or 3).

I want to be able to display the error code in the message, but 
I can't figure out how to do it.  Do I need to write a custom 
pager script to include the information?  The code shows up 
on the BB display page, just not in the trap anywhere.
