You can also put

PAGELEVELS="clear yellow red"; export PAGELEVELS

in the extension scripts ( $BBHOME/ext/* ) or even $BBHOME/bin/bbnetwork.sh
, bb-local.sh... Just add the line to the scripts for a more fine grained
control. I use this method extensively and it works like a dream. Management
can be slightly more complicated, but you can allways keep copies of all the
scripts at the bb server and redistribute after changes. Use ftp in a shell
script loop or use rdistr or something...
