Upon reflection, it wasn't actually that bad.

I did eventually sort-of succeed, but I have a spot of redundancy in my
installation, and I'm no longer sure which files I ought to be using.
Most of the wrestling was patching the wrong file and wondering why
updates didn't occur, or not realizing that I'd disabled the disk-checking
ext and wondering why updates didn't occur. I patched disk-larrd.pl and
bb-ncp.sh to work together (disk graphs) but it was rough going.
Mostly my fault, but somewhat avoidable.

Now that I look at the improved INSTALL, I can see more clearly where I
went wrong initially: the last line of step 1's paragraph should actually
be within step 2. I'd like to try again and submit a patch for it. But
I'm _STILL_ uncertain about whether LARRDHOME should be /usr/local/larrd
vs $BBHOME/ext/larrd (or some other location entirely), as the resulting
steps 3-4 in the INSTALL still seem impossible or contradictory:
if step 3 was executed only if $LARRDHOME != /usr/local/larrd,
and step 4 mentioned $LARRDHOME instead of /usr/local/larrd and
executed only if 1.9e and $LARRDHOME != $BBHOME/ext/larrd,
then it'd make a bit more logical sense to me.

The actual functionality of larrd is great! I'm simply stunned by how
fast it is! But getting there cleanly ...
