I want to monitor disk space on particular partitions, and bb-dftab
momentarily looked viable. I do not currently monitor disk space at all
because it would be so many nfs reads. These machines are netbooted and
I only want to monitor disk space on /var/tmp. Reading the comments in
bb-deftab.DIST tells me that if I leave out a partition, it will still
monitor it at the default defined in bb-defclient, and if I define it at
> 100, it will always be green. To me this says that it will still look
at the partition though, even if it knows it will always be green. This
would be bad. Can anyone validate this?
Note: I do not run bbgen for various reasons, so if it does something
that would help me, it's still moot. I am experimenting with Hobbit on
another machine, but it's not ready for production yet, as I've had next
to no time to work with it.
Thanks!!
~Kimberly
