Tks for this info, the patch for version 043c helped me out of the 1st
problem.
I will install this newer version when time allows me too ..

I appreciate your feedback.  Yes, the instructions on the wiki were clearer,
still not perfect though ;)

Assumptions
-----------
You will install larrd into /usr/local/larrd (This is also called LARRDHOME)
Your BB client is installed in /usr/local/bbc (This is also called
BBHOME_for_client)

larrd INSTALL
-------------

Current versions of Big Brother are split into a server component and a
client component. LARRD should be installed with the Big Brother client on
your BBDISPLAY server.

 1) Untar larrd-$VER.tar in /usr/local (or the directory of local software
    installs), but you've already done this if you are reading this file.
    If you don't choose /usr/local/, your life will be more difficult.
    Beginning with editing larrd.pl and changing where larrd lives.

 2) Link /usr/local/larrd to /usr/local/larrd-$VER.
    e.g. # cd /usr/local
         # ln -s ./larrd-0.43d ./larrd

 3) cd into the larrd directory

    e.g. # cd larrd

 4) Install the larrd software (updates perl links among other things)

    Type 'perl install --bbhome /path/to/BBHOME_for_client --larrdhome
/path/to/LARRDHOME --bbcgi=/full/path/to/CGIDIR'

    e.g. # perl install --bbhome /usr/local/bbc --larrdhome /usr/local/larrd
--bbcgi=/usr/local/apache2/cgi-bin

 5) Link $BBHOME_for_client/ext/larrd to /usr/local/larrd.
    e.g. # ln -s /usr/local/larrd /usr/local/bbc/ext/larrd
