See $BBHOME/ext/pg/qtext

It is the functional example included with the BB distribution.

how do I go about setting it up BB to use qpage once I have the qpage package installed on the server?  I have setup the qpage.cfg file with the users and groups I want.  Now I just need to know how to get BB to use it.

Re: {bb} Qpage setup

Hi Vince,

I use qpage.  The advantage for me was I understood how to make it work.  I used Kermit interactively to get access to the serial port and connection to the external modem worked out.  Then I installed qpage.

I still have occasions when I have to run qpage in the interactive debug mode to find out why I am not successfully sending via a new paging service -- the great thing is qpage works that way and DOES let you figure it out.

Hello all,

Is anyone using qpage with BB to do their paging instead of Kermit?  What are the advantages of qpage over kermit?

Thanks everyone in advance

Vince
