{bb} sh : cannot shift

Hi list,

I am trying to install bb1.9e-btf, after compiling BB I am getting following errors when I run bb commands.

$ ./bbchkcfg.sh

If any comments are displayed, please fix the entries in your configuration

*** Verifying pathnames to necessary commands...
*** All pathnames OK.
./bbchkcfg.sh: cannot shift

How do I fix this problem?.
