To review what BB is monitoring, look at the webpage for it. Maybe yourdomain.com/bb/bb.html?

BB is a lot to figure out all at once. It took me a while, and it's even harder if you didn't install it. If you haven't seen this yet, it's a good document: http://bb4.org/bb/help/bb-help.html and http://bb4.org/bb/help/bb-man.html

Quick rundown to answer your question...

Assuming it's a local test... to remove columns, you'd need to log on to the machine where that test is running, su - bb, go to $BBHOME/etc/bb-bbexttab/ and remove the line where that test is. The go back to the BB server and in $BBHOME/bin/ run ./bbrm <machinename> <testname>  That server command will remove the logs from that test so that it doesn't turn purple.

To add a column, you would need a specific script (written yourself or downloaded from deadcat.net), dropped into /$BBHOME/ext/ on the client machine, then listed in $BBHOME/etc/bb-bbexttab/ on the same client, then restart BB on the client (./runbb.sh restart)

Good luck!

We have lost our Big Brother expert here at work, so I am kind of thrown into the job of trying to figure this all out.

What I want to do is review what we have BB monitoring and then start monitoring the new stuff correctly and take off the stuff we don’t need.

This is installed on a UNIX machine (which my extent of knowledge on UNIX is a class I have JUST taken on basics of UNIX – 3 day class)

I have been looking around and can understand some of the documents at my disposal here, but is there somewhere that may have this in a more easier format to read so I can figure out where the files I need to find so I can add take out columns on the BB web-pages so that we monitor what we want?

I hope this all made since, if not please just let me know.
