Re: {bb} Change Links in BBDISPALY absolute --> relative

Phil,

thats exactly the problem I do not have an external domain and want to use the display also from the insdie.
So I am wondering if there is a central configuration to alter the link behavior fo the BB-Display.

Thanks,
Juergen

I think that something went wrong with the configuration stage. The
value of BBWEBHOST in bbdef-server.sh should contain the URL part
that includes the hostname that the web server uses. i.e.

BBWEBHOST="http://mybbhost";

It shouldn't have an IP address in there.

If you don't have an externally visible domain, you might just get
away with putting the external IP in there instead, but then you
would have difficulty seeing it from inside.

Cheers, Phil.

Hi Brothers..!

I am running tests with a BB-Display in a dmz with private address ranges.
My problem is that the BB-Display seems to create absolute pathnames in
its pages. So the clients from the public internet recieve internal
ip-adresses or hostnames which are not ressolved. Does anyone know a
possibility to change this behavior of the BB-Display. For example the
link in a page should be /bb/bb1.html and not 192.168.10.102/bb/bb1-html .

Thanks in advance and greetings
