RE: {bb} BB and VMware ESX

I have not seen any issues running bbclient in the guest OS.

I'm running BB on the linux host of several machines running VMWare Workstation... Does ESX may handle BB requests significantly differently? I've pondered putting the windows version of BB on the guest VMs (6 per machine) but have been unsure about it's stability or effect.

Wow, a fair number of responses.  Cool.

I don't really have any issues or questions about the guest vm's.  That is all pretty staightforward.

It seems however that the bbclient installation on the ESX service console (which is based on RH7.2) will require some ext scripts to be really useful.  Here is a list of things I would like to see in BB about an ESX server.  Thoughts ?

We are rolling out a number of VMware ESX servers hosting both Windows and Linux virtual machines.  I currently have BB monitoring both the virtual machines and the ESX service console.

Is anyone else using BB in a VMware environment ?  If so, I would like to compare notes.
