I don't know what all your other columns are, but I ran into a problem
on some of my machines where their hostnames were responding as
non-FQDN. This wasn't a BB setting, but rather the hostname assigned on
each machine. Hence, when external BB scripts used the variable
hostname, it wasn't getting FQDN.
There is a BB setting to choose FQDN, but if this is the only machine
with this problem, I don't imagine that's it.

Subject: {bb} fully qualified domain name
I've got BB to accept a new client to the network, which I've added to
the bb-hosts file. On the main BB page, I can see the green box for the
connection column but the other columns are just hyphens. When I check
the html directory, I can see that the client is there but only by its
simple domain name, rather than the fully qualified domain name. How can
I get BB to see the FQDN?
