{bb} Reading a file

Hello,

I have a problem which may seem simple but I'm having trouble getting it 
to work. I have been asked to set up a test on BB to connect to a 
server, read a file, check whether there is the word OK (or 
warning/critical) in the file and then report accordingly to BB.

Any advice or help would be great even if it just something similar 
already out there in the BB world that I can change.
