RE : {bb} Butter-1.0.6 on aix 5.2

I found an entry in the larrd FAQ about this problem. 

I only put the link here in case someone else has the same problem. 
(I wished google found the faq entry, but it never did);

I am running AIX. I get the following in LARRDOUT. /usr/local/bb/ext/larrd/la-larrd.pl: ERROR creating /usr/local/bbvar/rrd/random.la.rrd: can't parse argument '/usr/local/bbvar/rrd/random.la.rrd'

It looks like i have to compile rrdtool using IBM C compiler.

Hi, 

I'd like to use butter-1.0.6 on aix 5.2, but no rrd file is created.

The LARRDOUT file show such messages :
Mon May  2 16:45:06 2005: LARRD::checks::bbnet_check: ERROR creating
/usr2/bb/bbvar/rrd/san2sw21.bbnet.conn.rrd: can't parse argument '/usr2/bb/bbvar/rrd/san2sw21.bbnet.conn.rrd'

I tried to run the larrd.pl with perl -d, but didn't manage to solve the issue. 
(even the DEBUG option doesn't help in this case). 

Has anyone ever managed to run butter on aix 5.2 ?
