Hi and welcome to bb 1.9e.
Each runbb.sh should have a different BBHOME set.
You have to run each runbb.sh to have client + server, but as the
BBHOME is set in each BBHOME, there should be no problem at all.
And all logs are stored in the BBVAR (the html pages are generated from the logs).
As long as you don't delete bbvar files or directory, you shouldn't loose any
data.

Phil,
So, i have to run 2 runbb.sh : One for the server and one for the client. But how do they cope with the BBHOME directory which is not the same for server and client. /usr/local/bb is a link
to the BBHOME = /usr/local/bb1.9e. My bb client BBHOME = /usr/local/bbc1.9e.
I am afraid to ruin my bb server directory !
Rgds, johan

You need to install and run the BB client software on your BB servers. The server software used to include the client code, but it's now a separate tar-ball.
Cheers, Phil.
