I solved my own problem. It had to do with how the intial install
configured the client.
Since the OS was fedora, the install script configured it for regular
linux rather than redhat.
I overrode those settings and specified redhat. Now there is joy.
Now all I'm waiting for an answer to my previous question about how I
can graph the
service response times using RRDTool. Anyone?
