I dont quite understand what You have done.

If you want to add a new network test, you should define it only in the
$BBHOME/etc/bb-services file - not mess about with strange stuff in
bbsys.local.

And network tests done by bbtest-net doesn't invoke other commands so 
what are these commandline switches you're talking about ?

It sounds as if you're really setting up a custom Big Brother extension
script - this has nothing to do with bbgen.
