So you had to edit the runbb.sh and set BBHOME to /root/BB/bb1.9e-btf.
But big brother isn't supposed to run as root.
You have to create a bb user and a bb group.
And the best is to untar the archives in the home directory of the user bb.
Keep also in mind that you have to untar the client (bbc1.9e-btf) if you want to
monitor your bb server.

I have installed bigbrother at the following location /root/BB/bb1.9e-btf the version is 1.9e-btf my os is fedora core 3 but i had selected redhat while installing
