RE: {bb} bbgen ping question

I don't see any settings like the three listed below in those 2 man pages or
in the fping man page. My bbsys.local file doesn't have any information in
it mentioning fping. Just these two that concern ping:

PING="/bin/ping"
PINGPAR1="-w3 -n -c1"

I want it to make multiple ping checks like regular BB does before going
red, but I don't think it is doing so nor do I see how to check it. fping
says its default retry is 3 and the multiplex for the retry is 1.5 by
default. I see the options for fping in the man page, but not sure how to
change them in bbsys.local. The man page for bb-environ says:

 FPING Defines the command used to perform ping-tests with the fping(1)
tool.  You
              can add fping options here if you like,

Do I need to give it the full command name and options I want to change or
can I just put the options in somehow?

Thanks
Wes

No. bbtest-net uses the "fping" utility for ping tests. You can tweak
the number of ping packets sent, the delay between each ping and other
tuning parameters by adding fping-options to the FPING setting in your
bbsys.local file.

See the bbtest-net(1) and bb-environ(5) man-pages.

Henrik
