Not many details to give really. Windows 2003 out of the box running
the latest patches, BB installed on it, Dell Poweredge 2650. Obviously
customised the hosts file, and we also changed the background image and
modified the header and footer files so that it would layout
descriptions of each server to the right of details. The footer file is
about 24K in size. All properly formatted HTML. Periodically, about
every day or two the service will stop and the following will appear in
the event log.
---------------------
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7034
Date: 5/31/2005
Time: 10:48:50 AM
User: N/A
Computer: {omitted}
Description:
The Big Brother SNM Server 2.30 service terminated unexpectedly. It has
done this 2 time(s).
For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
--------------------------
The number of times varies depending on when we rebooted the server last
obviously.
We've had the service actually running and it not updating the web page
or emailing out notices a few times as well.
