{bb} HTTP check changes value syntax

Hello,

I'm just trying to understand why the HTTP check for say:

http://website.domain.com/cgi-bin/test.cgi?param=val1&foo=bar

changes to

http://website.domain.com/cgi-bin/test.cgi?param=val1_foo=bar

when it generates its email.

Is there a reason to replace & with _?? I can't seem to figure out why
but maybe there was a good reason behind this. Just makes the links
UNUSABLE in the email since without all the values the link is useless
and forwards the user to a totally different page because the cookie
isn't set.
(and param=val1&foo=bar isn't equivalnet to param=val1_foo=bar)

Thanks

Chris
