- Thread-topic: Alert Notifications
I am running in a Win2000 environment and
recently configured my bbwarnrules.cfg to send out a notice for all servers
listed.
Syntax:
*;;*;;*;*;bbadmin@localhost (< -- where
my email is substituted here)
I wanted to fine tune so that I only receive
alerts for certain hosts and not any of the others.....so I used
this....
host1 host2 host3
host4;;*;;*;*;bbadmin@localhost (where host = my actual
hostname)
I am still receiving alert notices for the
other services, etc that are going into the red state. What am I doing wrong? Do
I have to exclude all of my other hosts as well?
Thanks-
