Hallo again,
to switch the BBNET to failover, you have to activate it within the script:
----------------
# BBNET failover is automatic when we can't reach the BBNET machine
# BBNET should only be defined ONCE in the bb-hosts file, and should
# not be defined on the failover machine (that's this one if you're
# reading this!).
#
# However, if your BBNET machine is also your primary BBPAGER, then
# you can have BBNET failover when BBPAGER failsover. This is useful
# to detect the situation when the BBNET machine is still reachable but
# BBNET isn't working because someone turned BB off... To enable this
# behaviour, uncomment the following line:
FAILOVERBOTH=TRUE # FAILOVER BBNET WITH BBPAGER
# ^^^^ (normaly FALSE)
----------------
It works for me since more the one year, but not so often ;-))).
You can also activate the second BBNET, but all test are done twice. I've
had it for one
Part (developer-department) for some time and most it works but some time
there are
spikes of Errors and messages in BBOUT " Could not rename
/opt/bbvar/logs/...-errno:2"
and I think it's from to doubble testing at the same time.
