The error Invalid use of Null suggests that when the script is trying to
retrieve the value from the perf counters it is getting a Null value back (I
know I should have put more error checking in)...

Check to see if the performance counters are still valid on the server by
running up perfmon. 
If they aren't there then it is a problem with SQL Server I have encountered
before where they disappear. I seem to remember there being a patch to fix
this, however I wasn't able to apply it in my environment, and I no longer
look after any sql servers. I found it in Microsoft's support forum
somewhere.
