Hi,
You
should receive emails only when a test is not green.
It's
quite easy to produce a test that won't be green (simply put in bb-hosts an IP
address you
can't
ping).
check
the logs in postfix to see if bb tried to send a mail.
check
also in the BBHOME/etc/bbsys.sh for the mail command. (which command did you use
to test your mail with bb account ?).

Hey all, I have a new installation
of BB that I am trying to get setup and am running into an issue with emails
not being sent. I have tested that the Big Brother user has the ability
to send messages so the mail host is not the issue. I have the following
line in my bbwarnrules.cfg ?*;;*;;*;*;chewie@chewie.net? but nothing is
getting sent by my Big Brother box at all. The server is a SLES 9 box
with Postfix installed and as I said I tested using the mail command as the BB
user to send a message which worked fine.
If there is anymore information
please let me know what you need and thanks in advance for any help you can
provide to a relative Big Brother newbie.
