Unfortunately, it took a long time for me to notice the fact that a
new version had been released :( I wasn't considering the possibility

Attachments? E-mail alerts from BB are normally just text. It this
just for "mrtg" alerts? If so, there may be something you can do
with the configuration of mrtg to change that. I'm not currently
using mrtg, so I'm not in a position to comment.
If you're seeing this with alerts for standard services, I can only
imagine that it's being caused by the delivery process. It might
be wrapping the alert data as an attachment for security or other
reasons. In that case, it would be helpful to know what type of
recipients are receiving attachments and what software is used to
handle those alerts.
